A bit more about me……

I have always been fascinated with human behaviour, learning and communication. I have been a passionate amateur musician since childhood.

I bring to Feldenkrais my extensive experience working in the hospital system/health; a Speech Pathologist as an integral member of a multi-disciplinary team in neurological rehabilitation. I wanted to professionally diversify, yet still utilise my Speech Pathology skills. I yearned for creativity, ease and greater freedom both personally and professionally. I was looking for a vehicle to facilitate greater self-awareness and self-growth; both in myself and for those with whom I work.

I had known of Feldenkrais and had been interested and exposed to it for many years through my mother, who is both a Feldenkrais Practitioner and a Physiotherapist. A 4-year professional Feldenkrais training program came up at a pivotal point in my life and I took the leap!

Why Feldenkrais? Feldenkrais offers a creative path for learning more about yourself- a transformative journey of self discovery and growth. I absolutely love that the Method offers the ability to enlighten possibilities, embodies the power of creativity, choice and transformation, both for myself and for those with whom I work.

Studying the Feldenkrais Method ® has taught me to understand more about WHO I am and HOW I learn, move and engage in life. I am constantly learning more about how I can move with greater ease, awareness, confidence and vitality. I am more creative in my work and in the way I live life. Learning more about myself through self-awareness and Feldenkrais is a life long journey. As a certified Feldenkrais Practitioner I am excited to share the Feldenkrais Method ® to facilitate your learning and self-growth.
